Continuing the theme of the choices in our lives, we can divide them in three important groups:

1 - Simple choices: during the day we make several simple decisions that will not change our future much. Choices that do not require much effort to be made and that we are not personally involved with, such as choosing a restaurant for dinner.

2 - Moderate choices: This category presents some degree of higher difficulty. They involve analysis and knowledge so that they can be taken correctly. Let’s say you are a business owner and you are planning to launch a new project or product. This type of decision is a moderate choice, as it requires research and takes into account several factors such as demand and market conditions.

3 - Complex choices: In this category, choices have a big impact on a person’s life and future and are directly related with relevant changes. When people intend to get married, for example, they need to think things thoroughly and analyse a great deal of details before deciding it definitely because it is an important choice that will impact their daily life.

We need to categorize these choices for the decision making process to be direct and as clear as possible and not lead us to self-sabotage and procrastination.
