The Best Version of Ourselves

Everything around us obeys the inescapable flow of time; and since time is not ours to control, we did our best to understand how it works.

Our process of self-acceptance begins with the decision of taking care of that one person who deserves the best caring: ourselves.

1. The beginning of the process resides on INTENTION. What’s in the past doesn’t matter anymore, now it’s time to focus all your intention over a single purpose: be the best version of ourselves.

2. “Now” is when the action phase takes place, is when our best version will be manufactured using the tool of habit. What we are today is the result of our daily actions the same way that our best version will also be a reflection of our habits from now on. Our results don’t come from the exception, but from what we do as a rule.

What are the rules in your days? Examine it. Don’t blame yourself. Don’t judge yourself. State your intention and change this rule by taking one step each day. This is the most important phase for it happens now, this very moment, the only time that matters.

If you are only beginning to take your daily steps or if you perhaps already have acquired that habit which allows you to move closer to your purpose, look at yourself and remember: you are the project.

Pay attention to signs of exhaustion and allow yourself to rest once you reach your limits. Balance is crucial for every step we take on a journey so we can always move towards the goal.

3. Well, just as time itself is never ending so our process doesn’t have an ending either or a finish line for it is the goal itself. The goal is to be our best version and we achieve it each and every day we persist.
